Cornelis (Neil) Pronk is currently emeritus pastor of the Free Reformed Churches and serves as a teaching elder of Providence Free Reformed Church of St. George, Ontario.

 
Neil Pronk was born July 5, 1937, in Scheveningen, The Netherlands, and emigrated with his parents to Canada in 1953, when he was sixteen years old. He married Frederika Pronk in 1959. After working several years in the work force, in 1962 he went back to school and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. After graduation from Calvin Theological Seminary in 1965, he served the congregations of  Aldergrove, BC - November 13, 1968; Grand Rapids, Michigan - April 13, 1973; St. Thomas, Ontario - Semptember 25, 1987; Brantford, Ontario - October 7, 1994 - September 30, 2006. Rev. Pronk also obtained a Masters of Theology in Historical Theology from Calvin Theological Seminary,
 
The Pronks have been blessed with 2 sons who are married and they have 7 grandchildren.

Rev. Cornelius Pronk holds a Masters of Theology in Historical Theology from Calvin Theological Seminary, as well as a Bachelor of Divinity from Calvin Seminary and Seminary, Grand Rapids, Michgian, U.S.A. and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Frederika (Ricky) Pronk

Neil and Ricky were married on July 18, 1959 in the Free Reformed Church of Dundas, Ontario. Like Neil, Ricky was born in The Netherlands. Her parents emigrated to Canada in 1949, when she was 10 years old. She met Neil in the Free Reformed Church, which now is in Dundas, when they both were in their teens. After a courtship of 4 years they married in 1959 and lived in Hamilton, Ontario until 1965. Because their marriage was not blessed with children, Ricky worked as office manager while Neil returned back to school to finish his studies for the Christian ministry.

As soon as Neil was ordained to the ministry in British Columbia, in 1968, they began adoption proceedings, and the Lord granted them two sons, born in 1969 and in 1970. When the children were in school, Ricky went continued studies on a very part-time basis and completed an Associate BA at Grand Rapids Junior College, a BRE,at Reformed Bible College (now Kuyper College) and obtained a Masters in Church Education (MCE) at Calvin Seminary in 1987. During this time she was a wife, mother and minister's wife. She served the church by writing curriculum material for Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Ladies' Bible Studies, leading women's groups, etc. She loves reading, writing book reviews, short stories, and does some copy editing. 

Children and Grandchildren

David is married to Heidi (Halma). Their children are Alexia, Makenna,Evan and Mateo, David and his family live in Michigan, U.S.A. and is car sales manager. Heidi works for a relief agency, Word & Deed USA.

Timothy is married to Amie (Meeboer). Their children are Jonah, Katie and Curtis. Tim is self-employed and is a Multi-Media Designer (www.pronkgraphics.com)
